I've actually done that to a few people, except differently. You put up a screenshot of their desktop on powerpoint and set the next trigger at three or so double clicks. On the third, you put up a funny error message (in small writing) so they put their face close to the screen, and then have a picture/loud sound jump out and scare them. Ha.
