Array Fencing in Berlin -- Help I'm hoping someone might be able to help me. I will be in Berlin the week before a world cup (next week), and I need to get in some training. Never fenced in Germany before, and am wondering about the etiquette. I sent emails to both the clubs in Berlin, and have not heard back. Is it OK to just show up? If anyone knows the clubs in Berlin, which is better for women's epee? Thanks. I leave tomorrow. -

Funny, I have experienced exactly the same.
If I were you, I'd call them, also to see when exactly they train and how best to get to the clubs.
PM me if I can assist (time difference / language), also with other stuff, I do know Berlin quite a bit.
Take care. Beat it...Jab it...Stab it...FENCE IT!!! ***little t***Fiskebäckskil!*** Take me 2 YVR! -
I'm moving to Berlin for a while soon as well, and would like to do some fencing there.
I fence foil (badly; started learning a couple of years ago), and currently frequent the Auckland University club in New Zealand, which is fairly laid back. As mentioned, I'm a novice but I'm finding fencing tons of fun and very addictive. I'm keen to learn and improve, and hopefully make some friends and learn some German.
Can anyone suggest a club that I should get in touch with? I should be staying around the Alt Treptow / Kreuzberg area. -
Well, if you read German, this site may assist: http://www.berliner-fechterbund.de/ -

Hey Felix, saw your gig the other night at the Ambasador, very cool!
