    Public school was a complete waste of time for me, homeschooling would have been interesting....but there's no way my single mother had time to do it. Ah well.

    You only get a better education if everything works out well. And then, of course, is the fact that you tend to not get as masterful of a social education. If your parents are able to take the time, or you get a proper tutor, then yes, it can be better.
