I knew this thread would be about one of two things. I'm slightly relieved it's about cars. Oh and I too hate Hummers. If you took all the money those men spent on hummers, imagine how much enzyte they could buy. Two solutions to the same problem. Bob doesn't need a Humvee....

Sigh, I'm not. I thought it was about the other kind of hummer.

After all, the Central American Green Violet-eared hummingbird was recently sighted in West Virginia. Since we usually only get to see one kind of hummingbird in the East (the Ruby-throated) this is quite the find.

I'd much rather talk about these marvels of evolution than those big gas hogs...

As for the "rich, white, paranoid dip****s who drive them", I don't suppose it's come to your attention that the things are favored by rappers and gangstas as well? Conspicuous consumption is an equal-opportunity phenomenon.

I guess I am showing my age or something, but what other types of Hummer are there except the big vehicle? I had never heard the small bird being referred to as a hummer, but I guess it is a reasonable contraction.

But a 3rd type? What am I missing? Can someone please spell it out in detail?

A male personage stood up for me. It was totally unexpected I thought he would take the other persons side but he didn't. The other person tried to run me over in a wrangler and then argued with me and then out of nowhere a guy passing by took one look at her and told her to 'get lost'. It was a miracle.
