The fact that my family was going out to breakfast afterward.

Nah, I just felt like it was time, you know? I'm not a religious person at all, but I do have my faith. I don't feel as though I need to go to church to really express or validate that, but it doesn't really hurt either.
The cathedral was nice. Very modern architecture, but it suits the city. That, and exploring the mausoleum was quite an interesting experience. Although I'm still rather unsure about Cardinal Mahony. I was rather critical of his actions over the abuse scandals, although I have to admit, he has some cojones on immigration issues. Nobody is perfect, but when you're in that kind of position... it helps to be balanced.

Grandma is now in rehab and off "special" meds; no longer crazy. But now she has to learn to walk again, the third time in two years. :/

I would use just the yolks, but that requires more planning so that I have something to do with the whites. And my family never has cream on hand.

Personally, I think this is tasty. ^_^

I don't know how it works- but he is going to go to college. He wants to go to one of the military academies, and I think the Marines are his second choice after being a SEAL.
