i hate myself and the california board of law examiners.

pfft, passing rate = 53% 1st-Timer, 30% Repeater.

You should try my license exam, 46% 1st-Timer, 24% Repeater.
And I passed on the 1st try, unlike the guy next to me who failed 4 times already.

I slept nine and a half hours last night, and I'm still tired.

No practice with the club this week... But there will be practice Saturday, a tournament Sunday, and hopefully practice again on Monday. I suspect that many of our fencers will not want to practice during reading period and finals week, though. I may be forced to take almost a fortnight off.

I've been fencing for five or so months now, and I am on my second pair of sneakers. That pair, which I've had for about two and a half months, looks great on my front foot. On my back foot, seams are coming out, my big toe has worn a hole in the insole, and the inside half of the sole has worn down enough that I can feel it when I'm walking...

Looks like there'll be some shoe shopping over winter break, I guess.

My mom picked me up at the train station and within fifteen minutes she had nagged me about getting a summer job, criticized my fencing, and insulted my relationship with my boyfriend, whom she has never properly met. And all of a sudden, I remembered why I dislike vacations.
