For Halloween, I'm thinking Noir Spider-man. What is everyone else doing?

Not likely to do much this year, too busy with other things. Probably just pop in some vampire fangs and hand out candy.

People keep telling me to go as a fencer; but that's not a costume, it's just who I am. (more or less)
My fencing philosophy = quantity over quality. Eliminate the rest periods! Fence all three weapons! 15 touches for Vet DE's!

Ideally, I will not be in town to trick-or-treat on Halloween. I'm hoping to figure out a way to get to either ISU or Waukesha, WI.

I wish I were two months younger and eligible for JO qualifiers.

Fencing > Candy. By a lot.

On second thought, I have my first Sosc paper due that Monday. Maybe I should spend that weekend in the library :/ This is motivation like I have never had since that one time when we were going to Disneyworld for a week when I was in sixth grade, and I did a week's worth of homework in five hours the night before we left. Or that one time--strike that, all those times--when I left my paper(s) until the night before it was (they were) due.

Either way, I will start my paper on Thursday in Physics lecture.

i'll probably repeat last year's costume (renaissance princess) because it's looking like i won't have time to get to a halloween/costume store before all the halloween parties i'm going to.

Then you'd love 22% in Britain (plus national insurance). And if you love that, you'd go crazy for council tax, VAT, car tax, fuel duty etc...

I had a dream last night that I died while I was browsing Fnet. Another Fnetter had died that day too. I remember being sad that I would not be able to do any of the things that I had planned for my life, and following my roommate around school because she was the only person I knew who could see me because she believed in ghosts.

My second consecutive night with a bad dream.

haha! I'm actually lucky that I'm not making that much money yet. I know a few people who end up losing 37% of their check to taxes.

I'm going to be twenty years old less than a week from today... D:

There's no way that I am responsible enough to stop being a teenager already.

I'm a little more concerned about the fact that I have $6.27 in my checking account with possibly one check for $15.00 still to be withdrawn making me unqualified for adulthood than the playpen balls. Fencing seems to be bankrupting me rather more quickly than I expected.

No I don't. Some old checks I wrote (big ones, like rent from over the summer) got deposited yesterday... So I'm officially in debt.

Spanish homework is easy to check. There are a million resources for Spanish online, like spanishdict.com and the RAE. It is nearly impossible to do the same thing with Kazakh. I want conjunctions, and I don't have any!

Outside of my classroom I can see a stone wall blanketed in a rainbow of ivy, and a tree whose yellow leaves are backlit by the sun so that it seems to be glowing. Another tree nearby is pink on top and green beneath, like a watermelon tourmaline. The grass below is dappled with light and speckled with fallen leaves.

    Fall is my favorite season.
