Dylan Thomas -- Welsh writer. Most famous piece was probably Under Milkwood. There is a brilliant version with Richard Burton in the lead role.

I've never had egg drop soup that was neon yellow... I'm not sure where you got it from, but you may want to consider not eating there again.
