The varsity tryouts were today. 25 spots on the team and 21 people tried out. I don't see how this could go wrong...

Does that include you? I was always encouraged to try out for the football team in high school. I never listened. A bunch of big, sweat guys, cramped into a small bus to and from games? No thank you. Besides, there were some cute girls in the marching band.

What kind of grip are you using? My coach taught us to use mainly the thumb and forefinger. The rest of your fingers just support the grip.

It's a pistol grip. And, my coach has told me the same thing, but for whatever reason, sometimes I have a hard time with actually doing that. I think it's because I'm holding it like I'd hold a real pistol, lol... I don't hold guns lackadaisically when I'm at the shooting range, you know?

You have to use all of your fingers, anyway. Sometimes it is mainly thumb and forefinger, but you never want to hold the grip with only those two fingers.
