Haha, sorry 'bout the duplicates. It got all slow and glitchy...

I don't have anything to take, so I guess option numero uno is a no.

And I did have something dawn on me.. Do you think that piece of bone could come out that quickly? At the very end? Reason I think maybe that's what it was is because I went and looked in a mirror, and that spot doesn't just look like a bump anymore, it looks like... a bump with a hole in it =P I can't quite tell.

Whole thing was a really gradual process. We weren't even sure if it WOULD heal itself. I got those screws out a long time ago. My perio guy told me that if it didn't come out on its own, I could call him and he'd basically cut my gum again and get whatever it was (metal or bone) out.

But, the tax season came, and I forgot, annnnd...

It has kinda stopped hurting so much now. I have the nasty taste of blood in my mouth though now. From my lip, not my jaw, luckily.

I guess it's possible, considering you did take a headshot. Perhaps that might have jarred it loose. Maybe it'll come out on it's own, though you should still get it looked at, particularly since it's coming open. Just make sure to gargle so it cleans out, don't want to get an infection or anything.

Reminds me of a Christmas a few years back. A cute blonde had stopped me under the mistletoe. She tripped, I felt a pinch on my lip, and that kind of killed the mood.

I mean, I really believe this has to do with that surgery and stuff. But I did, at one point, go, 'uh, whoa, what if that isn't what it is and it's actually something really bad?'

Anyway, at least it isn't unbearable now. I couldn't freaking breathe earlier. I was just about blindsided. Now it's just a continual ache.

Glad you are not hurting as much, but I beg to differ on the taste of blood. If it tastes bad, maybe cut back (or omit all together) red meat. There are other foods that will make it taste ... less good. But some good Alaska salmon does wonders. But I digress.

I am worn out, just had to deliver a major overview report on all our programs to our professional accreditation body.

1000 or so pages of stuff. Long hours and I caught a bug (plus the worm trojan that ate one of our computers at home).
