I have played around with phpBB a bit. It's free.
I'm having problems installing windows xp/microxp onto a pc I built (not using any vm's though). Says "CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR" and boots into windows instead of the disk upon startup when the bios goes to call for it. I'm trying it now with a Windows XP home disk that I'm burning. I didn't want to steal windows because of the hassle with the WGA... I need Windows XP for the updated driver files. These .VXD files keep corrupting, and that computer is a ***** to install 98 onto.

I need to get to work on learning more of PHP and MySQL. I'm working on a new portfolio right now though, that and rebuilding the computer in my bedroom, fixing my other computer to work, keeping this computer working (I got a corrupted files in system32 error upon startup, twice. I need that new hard drive! Dx), rebuilding my neon sign with the old transformer I found, and school.

Well, apparently as of late I've been especially skilled at accidentally attracting boys that are too young for me... a lot of them.

What the hell, man? What the hell.

And one of my hippie friends (this one is older than I am, though, not younger, so it isn't the same) told me he always thought I had a hot librarian thing going on.

...I can't handle this. I'm moving again temporarily, too. Gah.

Hahahah! That happens to me! But, you know. With youngish girls. And I can't figure out why. I LOOK SO MUCH OLDER!

And GFI, I don't mean this at all in a bad way, but I don't see how you could have a hot librarian thing going on. You don't look nearly... geeky? nerdy? something like that enough. And you don't even have glasses! Glasses are essential for that look!

Hm, he makes a good point here. Do you often wear your hair in a bun, GFI? Perhaps she has a habit of shooshing people when they're too loud.

At least you have something to complain about

No, that's why I didn't get it. I'm a dork, but not that kind of dork.

However, I feel the need to point out that I am technically a 'glasses wearer', since I've had them for about seven years. BUT, my glasses are pretty modern, not librarian-ish, and you'll only see me in them when,

    a) I'm too lazy to put on my contacts

    b) I'm not fencing, or

    c) I think they look really good with something.

So... I don't know. I thought that since I've known this guy for four years, maybe he was thinking of the older version of me, the version where I was kind of quiet and moody and dorky. (Thirteen is not fun, yeah.) But since this he's actually someone I used to fence with, he rarely saw me in glasses.

And I'm back to square one with no idea how he got that out of me.

I wear my hair completely up occasionally, but hardly ever in a bun, and I'm usually the one being too loud...

True. Still, I hope you have a safe trip.

I was thinking of applying at the local library. Might make for a better change form target. Plus an old acquaintance of mine works there, and I wouldn't mind getting to know her again.

I just got a birthday invite! To a certain girl's birthday...
And I got mine as an actual comment, and not in the normal event invitation! So she probably geniuinely would like me to go.
