    Oh god, I've come closer than that.

    Wow, maybe it is true that most American can't read the international map...

    Dubai is in United Arab Emirates, south of Persian Gulf (south of Iran)... where they built Palm Islands and World Islands. The earthquake hit Southwest China, few thousand miles east (and a bit north) of Dubai.

Either that or working on small projects in the States for less money and "glamour"; the choice is clear.

    Anyhow, it's all just talk at this point anyway, not thing solid yet.

    I would have to say that I'd feel safer in Dubai then I would in Detroit or DC.....
