| I don't think you realize who this is coming from. He told us that we nuked Syria and his entire knowledge comes from what he reads aloud to the class and his netflix cue. I got into an argument with him and his retort was was "You could see it in his eyes in the movie," referring to the acting of the move the Ten Commandments as his basic for historical fact. And it's not barbed wire but bob wire.

| Yes, but in order to combat such stupidity, you have to know where their distorted logic comes from. You have to acknowledge what is true, and correct the path. If you completely discount it, you can't get anywhere.
It doesn't matter who it's coming from. And, if he is truly a moron, there isn't a point to arguing anyway, and in this country, he has just as much right to say what he wants as you do, sadly.
Oh, and it's queue, not cue.

| It's a historical common knowledge fact that Neinteen single-handedly built the pyramids, eiffel tower, machu pichu, the statue of liberty, uhhh, and Canada. I made Canada.

| Here are 10 facts on East Germany:
1. East Germany never fell, it's actually flourishing.
2. West Germany built the Berlin wall to keep its citizens from beholding the glory that is East Germany.
3. East Germany invented beer.
4.
5. The US just photo shopped our flag over the East German one on the Moon Landing.
6. East Germany invented Photoshop.
7. And sunshine.
My teacher liked enough he gave me full credit for it. He also gave it full credit to my friend who just repeated my facts from my sheet.
BTW that's from German Class not history.
Thanks for the correction. My bad. He does have a right to say what he wants, but to be a teacher is another story.

| this is freaktastical. quite memorable.
they even have shields. riot shields. there must be forty of them. every corner, every street. in groups of three or four. I can't see if they have guns, though. there is another force here that carries... machine guns. in public. quite spiffy. and scary. knowing that if you look a bit suspicious they'll prolly just shoot ya.

| now they've taken people (a group, about twenty, but there are almost 4 police men to every regular person or so) from the building a bit down the street and are holding them in the middle of the road. the people were resisting; I guess they didn't want to go? who knows why they're detaining them... it's really scary.
some are yelling and some are just sitting around nonchalantly smoking cigarettes.

| they've been out there for freaking hours. they had to switch reinforcements and guards and things. the people aren't being loud too much but they're all still out there (actually, there are even more now) and and won't leave. news crews, too.
I'm just wondering why they don't kick them out of this area... I should go out today, get some stuff done, but I want to SEE, haha.

| No, not really. Nothing ever happened... They're still out there, though. They were squatters, I guess (we got a pamphlet for their 'cause') who had a home in this building that hadn't been occupied in 8+ years. They supposedly were 'artists, teachers, and families who couldn't afford anywhere else'. Which, okay, it's sad. But they had three months notice and never left. The building didn't even belong to them. And you can tell by looking that they ain't TOO terribly poor. Most have nice clothes and none are trashy in the least. It's just terrible they're giving the anti-riot squad such hard time. I keep looking out at those guys and feeling bad... Most of them aren't very old, late teens or early twenties. I just don't think that's what they signed up for, poor guys, standing out there for hours

| They're bringing in vans to arrest these people. I don't even want to watch. I know if they go willingly, they'll be fine. But they won't. I've been watching one person in particular, who, even though his cause is wayyyy wrong here, is pretty interesting. The idea of him getting beat up in a few minutes kind of makes me want to barf. The idea of any of this makes me want to barf. I disagree completely with what they're trying to say but... I wish they'd just go quietly as opposed to hurting themselves over it and making me a witness.
I hope I don't cry. (I wouldn't be crying because I felt bad, just because... it's weird.)
