| Sure. 10 words a minute??
OH MY GOSH. I have a story. So my new piano teacher is realllllllyyyyyy weird, right? Trust me, he is. And he was talking to my mom the other day about how sometimes I move my thumb, like I would on a computer keyboard. I snappily pointed out that I don't type correctly and therefore don't use my thumb for the spacebar. (I say snappily because he was pissing me off that day.) Anyway, they get a bit into typing and stuff. He says something about how 'he can type fast, except for when he has to use the characters on the number keys, because it throws him off... otherwise he can do a good thirty words a minute!'
Zomgggggg I almost choked. My mom can do wayyy more. I'd bet I can and like I said I don't even know how to type! Thirty words ain't so fast, is it?

| I can type at my best speed - with errors - 75 words per minute. I go much slower when typing for accuracy - 60 or so. I have a friend who is the exectutive assistant for an area CEO, types 120 words per minute - 105 words per minute error free.
So, no, that is slow.

I don't think I could type as slow at 30wpm on a keyboard even if I hunt and pecked. Maybe with my nose, but it'd make capital letters a pain. |

When I was in Jr. High I got booted out of a keyboarding class. The class was designed to teach us to type at 35wpm by the end of the school year. I started off the preliminary assessment test at 85 with errors.
Got me waived out of a 8am class at least. |

| The point was that it was not 10.
And I don't type except when I get on this forum.
