Array You do realize that at that time Japan's foreign military advisers are from France or Germany, Samurai was actually the "bad" guy. Also they (rebel samurai) used guns and cannons at the actual battle (only after they ran out of ammo, they started to fighting with the old way; sword and arrow, etc.), there was no foreigner fought as samurai...
Nevermind... it's a Hollywood movie.

Array Yeah, I know that. But I appreciated it for what it was. A moving mostly fictional story with some good acting.
I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise. I think he's kind of crazy. (Okay, very crazy.) But he is a talented actor.
