I ordered a glove from BG and also got one that was way too big. I wanted something with more padding but cheaper than a brand name Uhlmann/Allstar glove. The best suggestion I have is to try on the glove of everyone in your club, then everyone at the next tournament until you find one that fits and order that exact glove and size. Otherwise you'll just have to keep hoping you get a good one off the internet description.

I have epeeist "glove envy" of a few friends of mine that have a glove from Triplette...it's a sleek white glove, I think it's the "stretch" glove or the "foil" glove. They don't have a lot of padding other than just the back of the hand, but let me tell you, NOTHING is sticking out from behind your bellguard, and that cuff is as slick as they come. The junky purple glove I got from BG feels like I'm using a garden glove.
