By the way, it's right, not write. | Yes, the stimulus package quote is definitely straight from the Department of Redundancy Department.
And I assumed that the "Am I write about this" was written in jest.... |

Who would have thought that the stimulus package would have been discussed at a meeting specifically for discussing the details of said package?

| OK, since we're bagging on reporters, I thought I would point out we all make mistakes. Below is a gaffe I made in a front-page story on a softball team winning the New York State title in 2002. To make matters worse, this page is on display in my company's front office. Kenmore West (29-2) defeated defending state champion John Jay (Section II) in the semifinals, 5-4, in Saturday morning's semifinal.

Like, you know, if it was a semifinal or something. |

Is this on thier web-site? I know they speak British and all, but still.
There are some tense issues that should be addressed, if $637.96 includes free shipping, then the shipping is not free and my personal favorite "the system compromises ...". One can only hope that the quality control on the fencing equipment is better. |

| Better, but it needs to be 10, not ten. And you're missing a couple commas.

| True, but 10 looks so much better written. I hate commas. Never mastered those rules. I always get it wrong. |

Price: $637.96. FREE shipping. | The only problem is, if we start correcting the English on the LP website, it would take us months to finish the task. They're great guys with great products, but it appears that English is a second language for them. |

It could be a new game. Post the descriptions one at a time and we see who comes up with the best new copy. Send the final result to the Pauls |

They contribute great products to a sport in which most of the manufacturers are cutting corners. It's fun to find the errors, but I'm willing to give them lots of slack. |

| This was posted in the NFL thread. I'm not attributing it in order to not embarrass the poster. Wow, you're dumb too.
When Jake went out he had a higher QB rating than Brady, only Mannin(P) and Rivers had a better rating. This is only to the fact he is a quality QB. I never said he was better than Brady. That fact you both read that out of what I wrote shows your both dumb. My English is just fine, you collective reading comprehensions are the problem. When you hit that 5th grade level come back to the board and reread what was written. Until then, open a book that doesn't have Dr. Suess as the author. |

| Another one... Guess you still didn't understand. Don't come back until you are smarter and actually know what you are reading and what it means.
Also, I never said Brady's season was a fluke Mr. Bean. If you knew anything about football, which apparently you don't, you would know the QB rating is an indicator of whether or not someone has ability and can play, not how good or great the may be. Brady and Manning(P) are considered the two best QBs in the league, which ever you put 1 or 2 noone would really argue except maybe the folks here. Jake can play and has proven it. When healthy he is just fine and a top 5 QB in the league. Next year he will be healthy and the Panthers will be much better. If none of that made since let me know and I can post a translation in lower primate. Something like ooo oo aaa aaa aaa ooo ooo aa aaaa. No one else will understand but you will and that's half the battle.
So by your logic Rivers is better than Brady? |

| Well let us just take offense at the second quote, since it was directed at me. I so hate being called a man.

| Here's a softball. From MSNBC: In New York, a decidedly less-majestic display of will took place in Coney Island, the annual Fourth of July hot dog eating competition. American Joey Chestnut won for the second straight year in a row, once again beating competitive eating legend Takeru Kobayashi, from Japan. The two initially tied in the 10-minute chow-down, then Chesnut won in a five-dog eat-off. |
