The Grim Reber will become famous soon enough
Coach Wanted in Wilmington, NC

Hi everyone,

The Cape Fear Fencing Association, in Wilmington, NC is looking for a coach to take the club to the next (not completely volunteer) level. The lucky applicant would have to be able to work with a strong, democratically elected board, be able to give classes to the intermediate level, and give individual lessons in foil and epee.

Payment is negotiable, but could involve a split of dues from new fencers, as well as the fees from classes and lessons.

For more information about the club, first visit our website at www.capefearfencing.com, and then contact Laurie Graham at lauriegraham@bellsouth.net. Wilmington is a beautiful beach town located on the southern coast of North Carolina. It has an active cultural life, a university, and is generally a great place to live.

Interested??
Thanks for reading!

For those who have never visited, Wilmington really is a great town. There's more to do there than anywhere else in Eastern North Carolina, and it's only an hour from Myrtle Beach!

Luca is on a distinguished road
I could be interested in your research.. but I'm living in Italy now. I'm playing fencing since 1986 when i was 8. I took part to World Cup tournament in 1996 and 1997 with Italian Sabre Team (Logrono, goeppingen, dormagen, Budapest and Italy) I had a big experience with fencing. My coach was the four time Olympic Champion Viktor Sidiak and i trained with Aldo Montano at Circolo "Fides" in livorno, (we both come from Livorno ). Now i'm also an Italian Army Officer and i'm married. My wife is a teacher in primary school of physical training and she also prepares me to my fencing competitions.
My e-mail to contact me is: luc.giovangiacomo@esercito.difesa.it
I think my english is quite fluently (speaking and writing) so i think i sould not have any problem with communication.
My speciality is sabre but i can give lessons also in foil and epee.
I hope in a reply.
Luca

Ahhhh, Wilmington. You are one of the places I am looking at for retirement, but that will not happen for another 8 years. I'm sure there are other coaches out there that are closer to it than me. Hopefully you can bag one.

Good to know there is some fencing there.

Regards,

Dave G.
