Array Thanks. Working on getting the forum set up with the new (smaller) header. That will give more space for content.

Array Ooooooo...it's all shiny and purdy.
James. If it's stupid, but it works, it's not stupid. -
Indeed, very nice, Craig. *applauds* Just because it's funny: Originally Posted by Capt. Slo-mo If you don't want to lose fencing privileges at USFA-sanctioned events, then refrain from throwing flamagels at those events. -

Array Turns out that the css files aren't applying the paragraph breaks that I had in a lot of the articles before, so I'm going to have to look through that.
Also working on the setup for the sections and content pages so that there will be more page space available for content.
The next step is getting the header rewritten for the html that the forums use - the content side is driven almost entirely by css, which cleans things up a bit.

Craig try throwing this in there: Code: .contentpaneopen p{padding-bottom: 10px;} -

Array I'll add my two bits worth, I find the new colors and layout much more usable than previously. So the changes get my vote of appreciation.
BTW, I'm viewing from FireFox on Suse 10.2 Linux. Yup, went and checked that from Konqueror it is just as much of an improvement but I think FireFox looks better. -

Array Redecorating Craig: Your new front page looks great, very nicely done. What prompts you to make these new changes? Are you just a compulsive redecorator? [You've been reading Martha Stewart's Magazines].

[You've been reading Martha Stewart's Magazines]. I've been meaning to do a redesign for about a year now. I finally got the template shell that I wanted and a designer (another fencer) to alter my stock template to the colors and logo placement I wanted.
I'd say that the front page is 80% where I want it now. There are a couple of more tweaks to do so that the different people that read fencing.net can easily get to what they are interested in.
Once the usability is there, it will be easier to find the new content that is going to start coming in.
