Array I'm not even from the U.S.A., but welcome. The preceding post brought to you by Rabid Monk (TM). Rabid Monk: informative, irreverent, interesting, random and downright odd posts, done with pride since 1983. -

Array Grew up in Lansing, but I'm out in MD now.
Still go back for family get togethers, but no fencing yet. Hateful to me as the gates of Hades is that man who hides one thing in his heart and speaks another. ~Homer

Do you fence at UFO?
I've fenced with those guys a couple of times. Good group. -

Array If I can get into UMich: Ann Arbor next semester, I would be, haha. No one cares how long your epee is, and if it breaks you just get a new one. -

So thanks a lot...Hopefully they were all bloody epeeists that you killed If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them. Trust me, they'll appreciate it. -

They were epeeists, okay? Shut up. You're going to jinx us. -

It's bad luck to trip over a lemur, you know. -

Array Make sure you don't do this inside a building... with an umbrella opened overhead. No one cares how long your epee is, and if it breaks you just get a new one. -

Just as long as I don't have to be inside the same building -or state for that matter- as you... If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them. Because epeeists don't know what they're used for, so they carry them around inside. The myth that they are unlucky comes from the fact that you are either an epeeist or in the same building as one. -
Genesee Fencing Club, do they meet during the summer?
I live in MI, going to school out in PA and I need somewhere to fence, and I live in Genesee County.
What's the size of the club and skill levels of people there? -
Yes, I'm from Michigan... but there is a good 500+ miles between us. We call this place "Heaven" (the Upper Peninsula that is...) because there are no Epees or Sabres around.
Oops, Sorry, there is two of each in my bag! I guess I was being optimistic. Similar Threads -
