One-Touch Epee Tournament

The University of Rochester Fencing Club will be hosting a one-touch epee tourny (Duel on the Quad) on Oct 8 on the U of R academic quad (paved surfaces). If the weather isn't cooperative the event will be held in Spurrier Gym

Haven't touched an epee before? - WHO CARES!! come anyway (you can hit on the *toe* ) Just started fencing? - come and get securly hooked on the sport! Come to prove your skill, come to meet some interesting new people... and stab them!

Registration for the event will be $5, but if you preregister by Sept 29 (via email js011g@mail.rochester.edu )you can register and get a T-shirt for $10. Otherwise shirts are $10.

Scoring will be electric to avoid any problems/disputes. The format will be pools followed by double elimination. There will also be fencing related games, prizes, and other chances to show off you skill (or lack of it), so this should be a fun day.

We're hoping for a large number of fencers to show up... we already have quite a few, including a number that are in the top 50 women's epee in the nation... this should be fairly competetive event!

If you have any questions, comments, suggestion, need directions,or want to register, just send me an email.
