7 workdays lost for summer nationals? That could be a problem for some. I know its warmer in Charlotte than Denver and the NE but its not a warm site by any stretch.
Go to the well until the well is dry. When the well is dry find a new well.

Summer Nationals are scheduled to be in San Jose, CA, not Charlotte.

Indeed. I just got my time off approved for Miami, and that's only taking 4 days off. Also, note that Summer Nationals will not include Div I, as the Division I Championships will be at the April NAC. I wonder what they'll do with the extra timeslots.

He was comparing Charlotte to Denver and Hartford, CT, in other words to the past 2 JOs locations.

Does this mean that we are short one Div I NAC, as the April event will the championships only, or did I misread the schedule?

Or any year with an early World Championships.

It's a thought. Will be interesting to have an event where Junior is the "highest" level.
I don't remember what time we were released at Atlanta the night we went to see Dead Man's Chest, but given it was a 10pm showing, it can't have been too late. I recall the show time more in connection with the fact we got out at 1am, of course.

Reffing the next day was less than fun! I seem to remember that most of the group had been done for long enough to get changed and eat a bite in that food court. And getting there took an hour or so...

No, it and its cost of venues was probably paid very close attention to.

    Wow, 2007-2008 Schedule Is Out!

Someone is doing some serious work at USFA. The 2007-2008 schedule is out already! Not all locations are there but the year schedule is already done! I'm impressed! Someone needs a raise over there.

At least one of the events (Richmond, in December) was bid as a two year engagement last year, enabling it to be scheduled in advance. The sooner you can make an offer to a hotel/convention center, the better the price break will often be.

Oh, come now, there must be a venue built on a toxic landfill in New Jersey somewhere that would be reasonably priced.

And what are the odds that the venue hotels are already "sold out" according to THS?
