Thanks I ALWAYS carry my mask, uniform, bodycords, and shoes in a carryon on the plane.
If they lost the bag weapons are expensive enough to replace. But the shoes: adidas equipment hitops: $200.00, mask $150, allstar olympia jacket and knickers roughly $400.00, body cords $30.00 a piece. That's like $800. right there. I always put a couple of fencing stickers on my carryon so that they don't question any spare foil tips I bring aboard.
AS for a hardshell case I'm probably going to buy one here shortly. Seems like the SKB is the bomb diggity!!
