Array Rusty Lame Let me start with: It has been eight years since I have fenced.
So I am getting out all my equipment because I just signed up to begin again, and found that my lame is showing signs of rusting. Is there a good way to clean that off without ruining the jacket? -

Array A little more information might help. For example, is the lame copper or stainless steel? -

Array I believe it is a stainless Lame, it is quite a few years old, but otherwise in very good shape. A little rust around the neck area. -

Array It may still look rusty after you wash it, because the rust may have stained the fabric backing of the lame. No worries - it may look ugly but as long as it works, it works. (Conversely, a lame can look fine but be dead as a doornail.) -

Array Just out of curiosity, have you tested the resistance? Compare the discolored areas with the rest. Similar Threads -
