Venue Directions
We are very grateful to the Indian Springs School (ISS) for letting us use
their gymnasium. It should provide a comfortable and convenient place for
competitors and spectators alike. The Gym will be open at 8:00 on both days
of the Tournament if you would like time to get settled in. Directions to
the Indian Springs School are fairly simple. The Indian Springs School is
located 15 miles south of Birmingham. Exit 246 from I-65 near Oak Mountain
State Park (Highway 119 / Cahaba Valley Road exit). The entrance to the
campus is less than a mile east of the I-65 / Highway 119 junction. The
entrance to the ISS will be on your right. It will have a small, unmanned
guardhouse (there is a traffic light at this intersection). Following the
two-lane road through the ISS campus. There will be a fairly sharp curve to
your left that leads you to the Gym. Look for the signs.

Hotel Information:
Days Inn South, 1535 Montgomery Highway in Hoover 35216
(205) 822-6030
We have also negotiated a rate of $45 for this nice Days Inn hotel, and it
is easy to find. Each room has two queen beds and can accommodate up to
four people. The Days Inn is located approximately 10 minutes from the
Hoover High School gymnasium. From I-65 heading North, take Exit 252 to the
Montgomery Highway (Highway 31). At the bottom of the exit ramp you will
turn left and go back under I-65. The hotel will be on your left at the ext
traffic light, a white southern colonial building (not a typical
hotel-in-a-box). From I-65 heading South, take Exit 252 to the Montgomery
Highway (Highway 31). At the bottom of the ramp, the hotel will be directly
in front of you. Go straight through the traffic light and watch for the
hotel driveway on your left.
Format:
