D & Under Cicuit in Central PA

To One and All:
The PennState University Fencing Club will be hosting a D and Under Circuit this academic season. The competitions will be held in accordance with USFA rules, and as such, the competitors must be USFA members with ratings of D or less. Competitors may, of course, join the USFA at the competition. There will be a $5 entry fee per event,; checksshould be made payable to "Central Pennsylvania Division".
We plan to hold individual competitions in foil and épée on the first Tuesday of each month beginning in October and extending through May. Sabre may be added provided there is sufficient interest and time.
Tournament sign-in will be at 8:00 PM, and the fencing will begin by 8:15. Tournament format will depend on the number of entries, in the interest of keeping tournaments under 2 hrs., and will be decided on the evening of the events by Wes Glon, whose decisions will be final.
In addition to the usual glories, we will award trophies to the best overall fencers following the final tournament. Fencers will earn points dependent on their placements in the competitions and these points will be used to determine the champions of the circuit.
