The Elite Musketeer Fencer’s Club is proud to host a series of epee training sessions with Akos Kallai, member of the 2004 Hungarian Olympic Pentathlon Team. Two training sessions will be on Saturday, January 27th and Wednesday, January 31st at the Elite Musketeer Fencers Club in Menlo Park, CA. It will begin at 3 pm and will run for approximately 3 and half hours. Fencers of all ages and levels are welcome. During the training session you will participate in warm-up and conditioning training for epee, footwork, and mini-competition round-robin with Akos Kallai.

• 18 times Hungarian Champion in Modern Pentathlon


Akos started his sports career at the age of seven. Five time world champion and multiple time European and national champion, Akos represented Hungary at the Olympics in Athens 2004 in Modern Pentathlon. Modern Pentathlon is a feature of the Olympic Games since conception. This is a most demanding sport. An athlete has to be good to very good at target shooting, fencing,
swimming, horse riding and running in order to succeed. For Akos fencing was always of the favorite one. Training for the Olympic, World Championships, European and National Championships gave Akos a lot of perspectives and experience that he looks forward to share with athletes training for competitions. He enjoys fencing and teaching fencing. Akos currently
coaches fencing at the local amateur fencing club that he started in Budapest, Hungary.


COST: $25 per session if Registered by Tuesday, January 22rd, 2007
$30 per session at the door. $45 for both training sessions if Registered by Tuesday, January 22nd, 2007
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring full electric fencing gear, a towel, and a water bottle.
