Well, I'm not Cutter, but I'm a fencer at the Sacramento Fencing Club. And it's a great place!

It's on Folsom Blvd on the south side of Hwy 50, between the Sunrise Ave and Hazel Ave exits. And it's HUGE. Ted Smith (the owner) took a warehouse and put in his own flooring so it's tailor made for fencing on. A lot of sabrists, but there's a growing contingent of foil fencers (and I'll always entertain an epee bout if that's what you're into ).

You'd have to check with the front desk for an evening's floor fees, but it's a full-featured salle, with two maestros and electrical fencing. no grounded strips, sorry to say, and no showers either. But we sell equipment and snacks so it's actually quite an operation.

And you BETCHA we're gettin' ready for Nationals! How can you pass up not spending any money for airfare or hotels?
