| A three parter-- call it a point for each portions, given in increasing order of difficulty:
"Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds"
1. Who is famous for quoting this?
2. Who originally said it?
3. To whom was it originally said?
-Dave

| Paolo--
Right on the first one.
You've got the correct work on the second, but not _who_ said it, and I don't recall Enrico Fermi figuring in the Mahabharata, unless one of the hundred Kauravas was named Fermi .

-Dave | I didn't read correctly. I was thinking about to whom Oppenheimer was speaking.
I must assume it was some avatar of Shiva saying it to some other deity?
I'm really weak on Hinduism.

| Well, since arcon's already awarded the points for it:
The Bhagavad Gita is a dialogue between Krishna (who's an avatar of Vishnu) and Arjuna, one of the five Pandava brothers, taking place just before the big battle the forces of the Pandavas and the Kauravas. Arjuna's will for combat is flagging, and he needs to hash out with Krishna why it is necessary to fight what will be a terrible battle.
