I was in Target today. They had these big containers about 5 ft long, 2 ft wide and almost 2 feet deep for less than 20 dollars. Could probably do 8 or 10 masks at a time. Rubbermaid Roughneck I think. Would also be good for storing masks or jackets in a club.

I have washed mine like that a few times, but I find it gets cleaner, and does less damage to the washing machine, when I wash it in a tub or bucket as others have suggested.

So, here is the deal. My coach, has hired me to come and request from the f.net forums ideas on how to clean twenty masks quickly. In other words he's not up to doing 20 loads of mask washing. What he's looking for is a non-toxic way of disinfecting/deorderizing masks. I was thinking something like the three second sanitizer we used in the restaurant industry. Any other ideas? Thanks for the help in advance!
Hum, I personally have decent success with wiping my mask out with a damp towel each and every time it is used, so it doesn't get too stinky in the first place, but that is of course not the spray-n-go solution your coach seems to be looking for. What about just leaving them stinky, to encourage people to buy their own, and washing them via the tub/trash can method twice a year as others have suggested?

Actually coach looked into it...apparently there is anti-microbial/odor fabric spray that is non-toxic which unlike Febreeze does not claim to clean fabric with magic. I can get info if there are interested parties.

The very best product I found for washing masks is Pink Solution http://www.pinksolution.ca
It is a non-toxic, biodegradable degreaser that makes the bib on the masks look new again.

The odor is throughout the mask. Not sure how a spray is going to affect anything but the surface.
