Greetings from Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, USA!

Hello, I'm a 17 year old epeeist, captain of my high school's varsity epee team.

I'm not really that unorthodox, just to my teammates, since they never seen an epeeist who can jump 6 feet backwards or duck and pick towards the wrist (my specialty).

I'm glad to be here, ad I'll probably just be hanging around here to check on some new drills, ideas, and/or tips.
No one cares how long your epee is, and if it breaks you just get a new one.

Welcome! I was thinking the epee part made you unorthodox... but remind me never to fence you

That's not unorthodox, that's just a couple of good tricks. Enjoy them, but don't fall in love with them. Welcome, UE!

Well, welcome to the forum I guess; though it would be much nicer if you fenced sabre *hint hint*

I hope that you find the forums to be as fun and it is helpful!

If I were to go crazy, it would be a short trip.

Hey I have fenced sabre before and it is fun in its own ways. Like the no-time limit, the oportunities to flunge...

I like epee for the time you need to plot out, lay traps for your opponent, etc.
No one cares how long your epee is, and if it breaks you just get a new one.

I know you don't fence epee, but that still doesn't mean you're not crazy. I mean you do go around and stalk people, or whatever you call it, and then yell at them to correct their grammar, spelling, and punctuation... Do you want to be an English Major, or an Accountant by chance?

In order to be an English major I'd have to be English. Which I am not. And I'd have to be in the British Army. Which I am not.

So what about that accounting part? ...trying to dodge questions?

I have no title of nobility amongst insects, either.

That is because when you asked, the insects refused to accept you because they knew that they were more repectable than you and they didn't want to tarnish their reputation as being civilized and polite.

Unfortunately for them, and possibly us, you had to go on a killing spree and mass murder their civilization...and that is why insects are now regarded very lowly.
