Array Miami-Summer Nationals Anyone have hotel reservations? Where and how much?
(I usually reserve as far ahead of schedule as possible and then cancel when we know the schedule.) edit-that sounds odd- I re-arrange the reservations when we get the schedule...

I don't think any divisional or sectional events have been held yet...so the people who already *know* that they're going may be a little low. RebelFencer's Awesome Quote of the Week:

Oh, there are no guarantees we are fencing, but I've waited until qualifiers to make reservations and didn't get the better rates. So now I make the reservation, and adjust the days accordingly or cancel. I was advised to do this by a veteran fencing family a few years ago, and its always worked well. I just have to be organized enough to remember to cancel when needed.
I did find a boutique hotel suite (veddy, veddy nice) for $100 less per night than the Holiday Inn. Happy hunting everyone! -

The Holiday Inn website seems to offer rooms for $137.50/night. You're staying somewhere for under $40?

-B Hmmmm...the Holiday Inn website I went to had them starting at $269-that was through our Priority Club. That was near the venue-I lived in Fla. and want to be on the same side of the bridge as the competition. Even before Fla. was wall-to-wall people you could get stuck for longer than you wanted if the bridge got stuck. -

Of the three major causeways out to the beach, only one, the Venetian, has a drawbridge. I don't think this is a significant problem. Similar Threads -
