Of course, it's still awfully hard to read.

| Note that their mother has competed on the team in recent years as well, to make it a real team eligable for events at Summer Nats. |

| Also note that the USFA has a requirement that clubs have 10+ registered members. Quite possible that they fail that criteria. Whether or not they've been allowed to compete, and regardless of how often that constraint has actually been enforced (or not) in the past.

Notice that France has 3 of the top 10 men's epeeists, by comparison, so probably some club in France is a lot better than FC (since France has this super-duper nationalized training system where everybody trains together.).
That said, it's insanely good, certainly possibly the best in the US. (I don't fence epee, so I'm not up on that. It's just easy to disprove a statement like that with some perusal of FIE rankings.) |

| The Fencers Club is a great club.
The statement that is "the best in the world" is a little presumptious.
But, if you think about the great clubs in the world: Tauber, Mangiorotti's, Sherma in Rome, Melun (outside Paris), Boisse's place, etc. some of them focus primarily on one weapon which makes the case for FC as one of the better all-around clubs more appropriate. Certainly in the US, where it probably is the best overall. BONUS QUESTION: What US club is the only one with two current World Champions? Hint: they are in two different weapons, age groups and genders.
Back on topic. Yes, go there for epee. They have some of the best epee fencers and it is probably a better place to absorb fencers at all levels than the NYAC.
Kornel is a fantastic epee coach if you can get him.

| Uhm, OFA has Ed Korfanty and Becca Ward, both reigning world champions.
And I think FC is home to Emily Cross, Caroline Vloka, Dagmara Wozniak, and Paul Apostol, all of whom are current world champions (Caroline and Dagmara in team events).
US clubs with at least 1 current world champion:
FC (Apostol, Cross, Vloka, Wozniak)
OFA (Korfanty, Ward (x4))
FAP (Turner, Wicas)
Team Hurley (Hurley, C.)
Nellya (Jacobson, J.)
??? (Lovejoy)
Am I missing anyone? Anyone know at which club Curtis Lovejoy trains?
