Group of historical fencing from Poland - new to this Forum

Yes, the "clue" of this hobby is to hurt your opponent . From time to time we are guests in hospitals .. Recently we got serious casualties in Ukraine, after "adventure" with Russian axe my friend had to visit Ukrainian hospital ..
That's the price for doing a history "living", but we pay it with pleasure .
Welcome to the forum. Your group is fascinating and it looks like everyone is having fun. Your website gives me a new perspective on the 'bang-your-dead' American Civil War reenactments we have in the US... I can only imagine what American insurance companies would think of such an adventure!
yea, with insurance companies we always have a problem in case of injuries .. if you say them "caused by axe" they will never give you money .. so, we have to use our invention and think about other causes

I too do historical swordplay and understand the joy of full contact sparring. I have since left behind sport fencing and spend all my time with WMA but still like to visit here and keep up with what is going on with the sport.
Heh, I also tried to do the sport fencing .. I think I am too nervous for this noble sport .. using kicks and doing box are not appropriate in this discipline ..
