| Allô Fencing People Well Hello all,
I basically heard that this is what one has to do as a new member of fencing.net. Well I've been reading this site for well over a year, but have never bothered to join. Now as I am bored at work I have decided the time has come to make that kind of a leap. So my name is Jen and I from Long Island. I fence epee, however, I have been fencing for less than a year. I only started epee a few months ago. I'm also a professional bum as I'm in college.
I do compete, however, I really fence more fun than anything. At SBU we get to drive to competitions all over in my little corolla. I was basically board at stony brook one summer and made clonardo teach me how to fence. He put me on foil, I disliked right of way and the restricted target. However, I learned my basics on foil and then finally switched to epee which is a much better fit for me. I don't know what else to say here-so I guess ask if you have any questions and have a good day!
~Jen |
