| "Casual" Adidas Dartagnan? EastBay has a listing of Adidas Dartagnans for $79.99 and has three color options, but they're listed as a "casual shoe". Anyone know if these are any different construction/material-wise from the version fencing vendors carried?

| They're not relatively close to the same as the D'art IIs, they're missing the leather patches on the sides and roll stability. Also, for like $20 more, you can buy better shoes than the D'art IIs. They're narrow in the footbed, aren't constructed as well as you'd expect for a $100 dollar shoe (Mine were glued together at least three times in two years.)
I liked mine until I got better shoes, but I wouldn't fence in a shoe that says "Casual". Your ankles will most likely thank you.

| I'm pretty sure it's just the 'tards who own the page who are labelling them as "casual". The toe doesn't wrap around the front as much, but otherwise, I've been pretty happy with the brown suede one's I've gotten.

| Dart II's are worth it, I find them really good, but I would buy the ones actually saying 'fencing'.
