    Need a favour

Positive Rep to the first person who can find me the post made in a priority thread that suggests that priority to an extending arm, not a straight one, has been commonplace for the last however many years..

and that people who say that priority used to be defined by a straight arm have no idea what they are talking about.

I'm sure that the said thread referenced this article at least once:

Search Bill Oliver's posts. I think he posted a rather extensive dissertation on this issue, and the issue of the persistence of the attack quite a while ago, back before he became fed up (disgusted?) with the people who just refuse to listen...

    Why do you care? You:

    a) know what the convention is for calling the attack; and
    b) know that there are knuckleheads who will stand up and spout "Arm must be straight!" ad nauseum.

If people truly seek the Buddha, they will find him. But if you think you know the Buddha, you will never meet him.

Why sabre? Because you don't take heads with the point.
