British Fencing Calendar

So, the cover of the british fencing calendar features a US fencer.

Go figure...

Two comments:
1. That image is not the calendar cover; it's just an "advert". Note the lines about "Club orders" and "Just 7 pounds!".

2. How old is that photo? The leg marking is not the current official US one.

1. I'm holding a physical copy of the calendar right now and the same photo is on the front cover. All the pictures except one are of international fencers taken by Serge.

2. That photo was taken in 2004 at the Athens Olympic Games. Find out for yourself why the markings are different.

If you look closely on the header of the British Fencing website, you will also notice neither fencers are British. In fact in the original design it was too obvious (the fencer's name on the right was too visible), so we doctored the image to remove the name....
