| New Rules Book and Study Guide Posted See the FOC website for the new rule book and referee study guide. Hooray! http://fencingofficials.org/Rules/2006_USFA_Rules.pdf http://fencingofficials.org/Document...06_Edition.pdf
Hmmm... looks like the penalry chart doesn't yet include the non-cambativity stuff. Anybody looking for that new info can find it at t.87 (or search the document for "unwillingness").

| Wow, at the end of the rules there is an example of 32 DE with repechege obviously written by a trekkie. Mostly stays with TOS and TNG but there is a little DS9. Fortunately no Voyager. And apparently Spock wins over Data, with Worf a close 3rd.
On another note, I wish they do what other rulebooks do and put changes from the last version in bold or something.

| Gack. I don't even get past the table of contents before seeing a typo, glaring at me in caps: "SUPPLIMENT", twice, where "SUPPLEMENT" was needed. Yellow card for the first instance, red for the second.
(I offer to proof-read, copyedit future editions...)

| Another problem. They never fixed the order of the bouts for pools of 4. 1 when they fence is always called first and 4 is always called last.

| I note that Question 7 still has its ambigious answers. I had hoped that would be fixed.
