| Fencing.net!!!
I actualy have Triplette uniforms and love them. I use other supliers from time to time, but lately it's just been f.net becouse craig caries everything I use from different vendors and that means I don't have to pay shipping to get miscelanous parts from three diferent places.

| first of all, I'm a foil fencer if that matters at all. I use mostly LP stuff for my points and weapon pieces, BG for my jacket, Duellest pants, a triplette under plaster (although I just got a PBT one that I'm going to try out), a BG lame (but I think I'm going to try for one of the FDN ones soon), and Adidas shoes. I've got very few complaints about any of that, save the Duellest pants. The zipper failed within months and the crotch started to split open after a little less than a year. So there you go, let me know if you want anything more specific.

| I voted LP, because that's where I get a good amount of stuff, but I also use Fencing.net a lot of the time and Absolute occasionally. You really can't go wrong with Fencing.net given the selection, price, and customer service.
You needed to make the poll multiple selection. |

| About 75% of our stuff (four boys fencing) comes from Leon Paul. Two of my boys fence epée in addition to foil and LP epées are the best
All four boys have LP FIE masks for both foil and sabre (the two who do not fence epée) and love the LP competition uniforms and hi tec shoes.
We have ordered some things from fencing.net as well
Our club orders from Amanda at Absolute. |

| My school club orders from Physical Chess (yes, boo hiss, I know. But after almost a whole year of fencing, the kids haven't broken a blade yet! Pretty good odds for over 30 foils! Now the bellguards are a different story altogether... I've coined the phrase "taco bellguard" from guards that turn into crunchy tacos after a particularly brutal bell to bell encounter. ) and Blue Gauntlet.
The local club I attend orders from Triplette and Blue Gauntlet, as far as I know.
I personally order from Absolute, The Fencing Post, and Blue Gauntlet. Absolute for my beginner gear, TFP for knicks and blades, and Blue Gauntlet for tools and my brother's beginner gear. Hopefully an order to Leon Paul for a new mask is in the works nearer to Christmas. I'm eager to try out the contour fit thingey.

Originally Posted by bunbury Just that Fencing.net is a tad bit more expensive then some of the others... | I have not found that to be the case. Their prices are spot on for LP and Absolute and most of their house brand gear is not only very good, but less expensive than the equivalent from other vendors. Some of the CA and BF blades can be found a little bit cheaper elsewhere, but I and my students are very picky on flex and so forth. Craig does a great job of getting me just what I need and that makes up for the slight increase in price.
I also use Absolute (for large club orders), Leon Paul (although I mainly get that through Craig these days except for my kit which has to be custom cut in the UK) and they Fencing Post or Zivkivic for scoring gear and the odd bit of Uhlmann gear I might need.

For small orders, I think Fencing.net is usually better in terms of price. I'm just going off memory though.
Also, like Cville said, Craig does a great job. It's worth it to me to not worry if I'll get what I want. |

There are several clubs set up with discounted pricing based on order volumes.

The Contour Fit is the most awesomist thing ever for fencing masks. Not only are they a very well built mask, I won't own another one cause this on is just so very comfortable.

Been happy. Regarding grips, I use a French grip, so I don't know how much of a difference it makes as to the manufacturer. My shoes are Ecco Receptors, which I love, but I can't speak for any shoes sold by Triplette.
Welcome aboard!

I run the IWFC orders through Absolute just about 100% of the time now - she's quick, responsive, and the quality/price ratio's been pretty solid ('though I'm feeling a bit twitchy about blade wiring). Before settling on Abs, I ran orders through a few other vendors with really spotty results. I'll be quick to say, however, that F.net was not one of those spotty vendors; those test orders were done before F.net's store was up and running. (I've been quite happy with the bits I have ordered from F.Net since then.) And I think Cheese is giving PC's default bellguards too much credit with it taking hard guard-to-guard contact to deform them. After the first couple failed so miserably, I took a new one out of the bag and bent it one-handedly ... and I've got weak hands. :-/ |

| Physical Chess is decidedly not a Tier 1 vendor of fencing gear. I don't like to talk bad about people when they haven't done anything *wrong*, but in my household there are two beginner sets from them and a fencing bag, and on all the orders the communication was lacking. I'd really recommend dealing with a vendor who has high customer service marks like Fencing.net or Absolute. Personally, I go with Swordmasters a lot too, but the owner is a personal friend and they're the local vendor, so it's pretty convenient. |

| I've tried out a few different vendors over the past year and a half.
I've been very impressed with Absolute for customer service. The one order that I had with an error (out of about 5) was sorted out very quickly and painlessly. I just got a left handed glove instead of the right handed one I ordered.
My absolute favorite Epee came from The Fencing Post. I've been using it for a year with next to no problems. The only thing that's gone wrong was my fault. The blade came setup perfectly (read: tip was sensitive to the point of almost being illegal). Wonderful cant on the tang, and the wire job is spotless.
I've ordered a couple of body cords from Leon Paul USA and they came quickly and have lasted. Can't say much else.
I've also placed a couple of orders with Sword-Masters. I just LOVE their screwless points. Customer Service has been pretty good. Easy to reach on the phone and respond to emails quickly. They also carry a few items that aren't listed on the website, like German contact springs. Just have to ask them. Also, their leather epee pads are awesome!!! In addition to this, they're the only vendor I can find that carries Zap-CA glue (the pink bottle).
