    Euro-American Fencing Camp

Anyone ever been to this camp and can tell us anything about it? I really want to go to it but am looking for more info before I sign up.

It's usually pretty good, and a lot of fun.

They have coaches and fencers coming from France, so you get a lot of practice against people you have not fenced before.

They have a little tournament at the end, I think.

The coaches who organize this camp are also pretty good coaches themselves:

Dan Tibbets has coached a couple of kids who went on to the Junior/Cadet World Champs
Maestro Lucchetti was a National Coach in Argentina and is accredited to deliver the Prevost and Maitre d'Armes diplomas. He has coached members of the National Epee team as well.
    • Epee is the Louis Vuitton bag of fencing: only the best can get it, and the rest of the masses must content themselves with cheap knockoffs (sabre, foil)
    • To not recognize the power of the French grip is to be in denial
