Prise de Fer SYC

Since people were looking for more info on SYCs, I just wanted to let you all know that Prise de Fer Fencing Club will be hosting an SYC this year.

In order to provide a better experience for the fencers and a more well run tournament, We will be hosting it on two different weekends, separated by gender.

The Prise de Fer Girls SYC will be held at the Dana Hall School on March 31st and April 1st. Pre-registration for this event is available on askFred.

The Prise de Fer Boys SYC will be held at Danvers High School on April 14th and 15th. Pre-registration for this event will be available shortly (we are still hammering out some scheduling details).

If you have any questions about this event that you either don't want to post publicly or don't believe are helpful to the community at large, feel free to pm or email me.

Also, if you wish to referee this event, please email me, but be aware that due to the high number of fencers and referees in the northeast, we are not likely to fly people in.

??

Was this in response to some now deleted post, or did I miss what you're responding to in my original post?

There was a deleted post by an apparent troll talking about attractive fencer shapes. Given that this is a Youth tournament, I was a trifle concerned at their perspective.
