| Hedi, yes they do. If you hold a grasshopper and look very closely at the side of their head you can see a slightly lighter coloured area. This is the grasshopper equivelent of the ear drum. It basically picks up vibrations more then sounds. Sorry if this is not of interest to anyone else, I did entomology and parasitology for 2 years, so sometimes I have to share!

But ah, 2 foils can make such a nice lot of noise... One alone is quite different.
Though, I suppose if you were foiling the intended purpose of the foil, then who knows what you're actually doing with it, and what kinds of sounds it would be making... |
