Array As I leave you I want you to know--just think how much you're going to be losing "As I leave you I want you to know--just think how much you're going to be losing--you won't have MrE to kick around anymore, because, gentlemen, this is my last thread." - adapted from a speech given by Mr Richard Nixon
As it was phrased in a recent PM, the recent F.net outage served as a healthy shot of Methadone. I nearly relapsed, but I now know that this is the right course.
I'm currently in the process of cleaning out my virtual desk, and am looking forward to a bright future.
I'll stick around until 12 AM Saturday Night / Sunday Morning.
Til then.... All your posts are now belong to us. G.W.
Peace.

Array Gah, for once I'm legitimately upset over someone leaving. RebelFencer's Awesome Quote of the Week:
"Encouraging the average age of first intercourse to go below 16?"

Array Consider yourself lucky that it's not one of the "Fencing Experts" leaving.
Then this place would be in a world of hurt.

Array Doesn't this belong in the water cooler. Only joking I hope you decide to rejoin us at some point. The forum is better with you here. Thanks for all the irreverance, sarcasm and sanity that you brought to this place. I for one think it needed it. -

Array "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. And from this side only! The flight of a half-man, half-bird. Dinosaurs nuzzling their young in pastures where strip malls should be. Cookies on dowels. All those moment, lost in time. Gone, like eggs off a hooker's stomach. Time to die" -Phil Ken Sebben -

J/K Not that you're bitter, right? "If I were ever to challenge you to a duel, your best bet would be battle axes in a very dark basement." Misquoted from The Prisoner

But those things which belong neither to God nor to Caeser, feeleth free to writeth them off, for yea, they are deductable. -

Actually, I'm leaving for health reasons.
One more ratings, shoe, or "is this legal" thread and I just may take that little trip down the highway and not across the road... if ya know what I mean.
Consider it self-preservation.
I intend to vacation to Casablanca... for the waters.
I sincerely hope that I haven't been misinformed. Take your time. Read carefully. -

I'm gonna miss you, man. I had such fun delving through the USFA's 990 form last year. "If I were ever to challenge you to a duel, your best bet would be battle axes in a very dark basement." Misquoted from The Prisoner

Now accepting nominations for next Epee Curmudgeon. Also, Foil Curmudgeon. The position of Sabre Curmudgeon is already filled. -
That Guy
Array nah, it can stay here for a while.
I owe you at least a beer for the insight and laughs you've provided.

Array So, any special words of wisdom in parting?
EDIT: Also, I've got to wonder if, like Nixon after that speech, you'll be back in a while. "If I were ever to challenge you to a duel, your best bet would be battle axes in a very dark basement." Misquoted from The Prisoner

Array "Badgers!? We ain't got no badgers. We don't need no badgers! I don't have to show you any stinking badgers!!" -- adapted from a speech given by a cinematic Mexican bandit leader.
I think that pretty much says it all. Yes, I've decided to remain.
Please, don't cry for me; I am far healthier now than when I first started wearing the aluminum hat. It's just that after reviewing the state of my life and certain drug dosages, this is definitely the right time to not go away.
I'm staying. This has not been an easy decision, so don't try to dissuade me now. My mind is made up. Here I am and here I shall remain. -

Array What about...
"We shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender,"
The Island of Epee will be ever so much more vulnerable without your stalwart defence of her, though in this virtual age, you may certainly fight in Morocco as easily as Epeeton, USA. I know I'll miss you, but can certainly appreciate the difficulty of kicking the habit. I think I've quit a couple of times.
*grin*
Best of luck man.
James. If it's stupid, but it works, it's not stupid. -

Looking for a certain Striptease...... -
I've said this (although I didn't post it). He'll be back. Anyone that has that many posts has to vent his opinions somewhere.
He'll wonder what's going on, or there will be a rule change, maybe log on as a "visitor", see an asinine post (something like this post), he won't be able to stay quiet, then that's when he'll get sucked in again.
or Maybe he's planning a "Michael Jordan" and come back 3 different times...
or Maybe he really wants to be known as "Mr. Foil".
What ever the case may be, I wish him well. Similar Threads -
