Obviously he didn't expect Rumsfeld to stay on when he was about to sack him as soon as the elections were finished.
The article makes it clear that it's not quite that unequivocal. But it's good enough. Use the Shift key, people! Keyboard manufacturers everywhere are ineffably saddened when you ignore what they made just for you! -

Array It comes at a weird time, but I guess as long as the new man is up to date on things it may work out. The occupy thing is such a drag. I can't believe how this thing has turned out. Why can't they occupy something decently. I am totally ticked off. If they would look at the occupation of Japan during the last big one, they had better control of things. For one thing, no one was running around bombing each other they mostly stayed put and tried to put their country back. They only had a little scirmishes now and then. Going after civilians is not the way to regain a peaceful settlement. They need a man like McGarther or Patten. Though it was a different war, somethings can carry over? The emperor actually surrendered, maybe that was the thing. post script: Marveleous Mave, I wanted to let you know: your avatar is good, but I really liked the other one with the twisty arms. I recenetly learned from a nice fellow in class how to correctly twist the arms for the dance floor....into the Mave position. Class was great, we did kareoke, where I got a 97 singing in Tagalog.
