| Unlike Pa55w0rd I won't be getting away from this inanity - Boo. I'm a little sick of having this forced "we love the queen" bollocks. Bottom line is that were I come from very few people (particularly my generation) give a rats testicle about 'her nibs'.
Incidentally I've met the queen. She's short and she looks like my granny (only she isn't dead). |

| Gav,
She is actually quite a sweetie (I've had a 5 minute conversation with her when she visited my halls). As for the Jubilee, heee... take it or leave it.

| I am disappionted to hear all these negative comments about the monarch.
I just want to make clear that my earlier message was offering info. for anyone who wanted to show support, or info. on HM Golden Jubilee. It wasn't intended to 'jam the monarchy down your throat.'
It is unfortunate that there is such a misunderstanding of the Monarch, Her duties, obligations, and sacrifice for us.

| yeah zelda the comments about going back to oz gave it away. I'm not to judge, since I know very little about that department/programme. Maybe our paths will cross sometime anyway - who knows.

| Was that Brian May of Queen that jammed on the tune "God Save the Queen"? Saw a quick clip and it reminded me of Jimi at Woodstock. Can't wait to see the whole thing Sunday night on VH-1! |

| Yes Doug it was. I think the classic quote of the evening was Paul McCartney asking the Queen "Can we do it again next year?" and she replied "Not in my backyard!". I will report on the state of the grass when I attend the garden party next month!

| I enjoyed it all. I did notice that the Queen never smiled. The Music was great although the outside accoustics sucks when it was piped through the telly.

| Hello All.
HM Queen Elizabeth II will be coming to Canada in October. Her schedule won't be made available until August or September, but I've heard she will be in Toronto, Ottawa, and Winnipeg. (if anyones close to that area!)
Regards,
