| Delay of drinks is however the more serious offense. |

| You walk into a venue and someone says, "Where's Jay?"

| ... "security to the Bout Committee table, please".... .... when an FOC is genuinely worried that, upon being released early (in anticipation for using you for heavy workload following day), you most likely won't willingly leave the venue. So he MAKES you leave....

Oh well, he brought it on himself.

You know you referee too much when...
you notice that Choi has already left.
| I think I might have managed that on Saturday. |

| Not too bad at all. I think the Y-14 DEs went out around 5:30 or 6pm, and we were at the round of 32 at, oh 7:30pm? I think they were done around 10pm. |

| Gold medal bout for JMF finished at 11:15pm on Sunday -- exactly the forecast time.
The 8 extra strips (compared to last year's event in ALB) helped considerably throughout the weekend.

Parents and fencer from California recognize me from the last handful of local/regional events they've been to over the course of last 3~4 weekends. So they come up to say hi, and that it's so good to see me come "all the way out here!"
I inform them that I live 5 miles from the venue.
