| People were spending too much time posting and not enough time on whatever hell they are supposed to be doing. Taking down the site was a mean to save everyone from this horrible addiction.
(And it obivously didn't work...)

| The people running it bought a program to take all the junk and clutter out of the forums... And had to bring the website while they retyped every word of the forum posts.
