Hey - you should always keep in mind what is stored online and how.
The server was hacked into and used to run multiple DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks which then brought everything down and corrupted data on the server itself.
Fencing.Net was not hacked into, but we were on a shared server and one of the other accounts got the hit.
All of the data was stored on the SQL server and not the web server, but they share a switch, so I'm not sure what happened there.
It looks like the web server was taken over solely to run the DDoS attacks, but we don't know for certain.
