| Lightsaber I've been playing Star Wars: Obi-Wan on the Xbox a lot lately and was wondering how many other fencers are having fun with this game?
For the uninitiated, you play Obi-Wan as he runs around with his lightsaber and the Force. You fight all sorts of baddies, and you have various attacks and parries using the joysticks and buttons. It's a lot of fun, and a great stress reliever! |

| Doug, is that a computer game or Play Station or what? Sounds like fun. I have been playing fencing with Zorro online occasionally. That's pretty cool too.

| Xbox is Microsoft's answer to Playstation, so it is kind of like a Playstation game. I've been having a lot of fun with it. |

| Well as the Xbox hasn't been released in Australia yet, the answer is NO.
They're giving trial runs to promote it in my town next Thursday (or this coming Thursday if you prefer). That's Wednesday to most of you yanks.
If they have that game there I'll let you know what I think

| Well, the X-Box was released in Japan last week, so I would assume that it will make its way to Australia soon.
In any case, I will stick to my PS2, since there's no Grand Theft Auto 3 for the X-box... and that is one of the sweetest games I have ever played.

| If I could afford/justify a gaming system (I'm a big proponent of PC gaming), I'd get the PS2 just for GT3 and Metal Gear Solid 2. I love the entire GT series, especially GT3 and MGS was awesome and MGS2 looks even better. Like I said though, PC gaming is where it's at (if anyone plays Starcraft, look for me on USeast as Methix)

| I'm with you there, Methix. I used to play Lockheed's F22 Raptor online a lot, and was an avid Myth-the Fallen Lords player online as well. They just took down the free play site a few weeks ago, so I guess I'll have to wait for the next LAN party to get a big battle under my belt.
I bought the X-box over PS2 because you can network several X-boxes together, forming a sort of LAN, and the 6 gig hard disk can hold and play CD's while you're playing your games. |
